That works too unless it gets silly. Ended up having to call a time out on that last year as ended up as race to surreptitiously settle when some at the table still wanted more drinks. Good friends. Good issues. Got stupid though!

Yeah and the whole counting individual items is very North American generally. In Spain the waiters commonly just ask at the beginning of any meals if bill will be separate. Just saying, culture would be an important element for an app like that
