nostr:npub1df96jqumkhanf4ltz4eq8atzn4ykxj9e005r929sx7hdfc92ymjqtye9ry what i'm speaking about is general social anxiety. speaking to a woman just adds to that anxiety.

Take drugs.

Prescribed.

This is piss poor advice.

Some people struggle with social interactions more than others. You really just have to practice. None of us are born with skills, some people just had a better coach or practiced more than you.

Drugs are not the answer. Xanax is an excellent cure for anxiety, but it will give you the same problems as drinking in excess.

Easiest way to learn a new language is to immerse yourself in it. Get a job knocking on doors.

I’ve done a job like that for 6 years and now I’m not afraid of anyone or anything on the other side of that door. I’ve seen it all. Even though I don’t know what’s coming.

Also anxiety is your body’s reaction to danger. You highly fear social interactions. By withstanding more social interactions you create a portfolio of experiences that didn’t end horribly and you will lose your fear of them.

Keep working at it. There is no speaker that goes on stage that has no anxiety, they just know how to deal with it now.
