I think taxes should be voluntary. Like a vote for a policy you want to see implemented. Kinda like zaps.
But not confiscated at the threat of imprisonment.

Taxes are born out of need. When people know something is needed, they are needed to pay taxes.
Rightnow taxes are held up by difficult policies and political developments that are difficult to track. Humans cannot properly function in such a big centered organisation.

When I was a kid I used to send cash/checks in the mail to addresses I found in magazines selling vinyl records or other things. Then it would take 6-8 weeks to find out if I’d been ripped off. Most of the time I got what I ordered.

Who facking cares?
Two possibilities:
Elon will say: "good luck without my doge and im sad. You gotta do what you want, you have the original ceo of twitter at your side"
Elon will say: "get off my doge platform and get lost, youre not allowed to talk about it, i will remove your message etc." Which would result in elon getting bad look, the former ceo of twitter bashing him, and many more people leaving twitter, something which is not a good case with the already lost userbase.
Nostr is camp. Twitter is the front, i still believe his battle must be fought there for the time being. We are in no rush, organic growth of Nostr over time will have the desired positive and definitive impact on adoption.

Don't worry too much about that. The most valuable commodity on Nostr is reputation, imposters will be identified and flushed
