In the last week there has been a lot of drumming up of support for Israel in the West. Gruesome scenes intended to enrage people so that people in the West emotionally want revenge and get behind Israel.
I guess that propaganda isn't playing in Russia?
Russia is a very Islamic country, but Russian Jewry also has a long history. We are kind of in between 😅.
I understand the purpose of talking about the brutal murder of children, but to deny that such a thing actually happened seems pretty conspiratorial to me.
In any warfare, it is the civilian population that suffers first. We know how the United States shot civilians, we know how Russian soldiers killed children and women in Ukraine, how Ukrainians themselves took Ukrainian children hostage. War is a dirty business.
I'm not saying it's not plausable. Totally plausable. Just that no evidence has been presented. Is it conspiratorial? Yes. Actors for nations conspire to do that nation's bidding. No suprises there.
Evidence will come later 😅. The most important thing for Israel right now is to boost morale internally and make itself look like a victim externally.
