Ya, I’ve had a similar experience. Mobile zaps via NWC have been very reliable, but the last few days, I had two “stray” zaps that I can’t track down to a specific note.

No I’ve never done it that way. In fact, just now I got a notification that I sent 10 sats to someone but haven’t even been on my phone the last 15 minutes

you don't use fountain for listening to podcasts ? it can zap while listening automatically (X sats per minute)
