YouTube is now using AI to determine if you're under 18 to "protect" minors from sensitive content.
In other words, big tech is censoring information which is freely available via open RSS in most podcast apps.

Let's be clear this is not YouTube's fault. The UK government made a Draconian law and the EU made basically the same Draconian law. YouTube is forced to obey those dumb laws.
Decentralised social media like Nostr is obviously far superior for censorship resistance but these laws shouldn't exist in the first place and must be repealed.
You're right, that's an important distinction to make and further highlights the importance of freedom tech.
