2001 A Space Odyssey (1968)

A classic. It's still a strikingly beautiful and thought provoking film, Kubrick had an amazing eye for composition. Still worth a watch 50+ years after its release.

I'm surprised I hadn't added it to the kinostr hashtag already. I could watch it with no sound just for the cinematography. It's pure eye candy.
