I encountered a rare breed today. Momentary eye contact in the parking lot. Purple hair. Covid mask. Nose rings. Tattoos. She was walking away from her car that had a sign in the window which read,"CHECK YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE" and a link to a website to learn more about white privilege. She was white. Her car hailed from Portland by the look of the stickers.
Not many of those around here thank goodness.
