Content yearns to be Zapped. Why? Content has value. From interesting notes, to news, to media, to memes. It's all valuable and we understand Proof-of-Work. This is why our value for value circular economy will flourish on Nostr.

When zaps will be as easy as liking a tweet?

I have a random question: Is Nostr shitcoin-resistant? Or could shitcoiny scammers build shitcoin rails into a Nostr client if they wanted to?
Nobody can stop anything on #Nostr
Makes sense to me. I guess it just shows that sats on Lightning are the most useful and best thing to use. And/or that Bitcoin has the best builders. And/or that Bitcoiners are better at thinking into decentralized communities. And/or that shitcoiners are lame.
I'm sure we'll have plenty of Shitcoin integrations, at some point. I've seen one relay that accepts Monero. I'm sure we'll have all sorts of others at some point in the future. And this is all okay. We may not like those Shitcoins, but we should be happy that anyone can build anything they want to on Nostr.
Value for value system. It feels different, exciting, and somewhat natural. A free like is basically just an acknowledgment of post, which can be farmed by bots and manipulated. A real world cost (sats) shows value has been received and incentivizes better content to be rewarded. It also cuts out on irrelevant/spam content in the long run.
But what about click-bait ad revenue? Isn't THAT what our society needs. ππ€£π I hope NOSTR revives honest reporting and journalistic integrity.
I'm sure we'll have some of that too. Though, I hope it's minimal.
This will force content creators, journalists, etc to put out better content on here.
