Does Bitkey software collect user analytics?

BDK is working on Compact Block Filters (CBF), which elevates the need to run an own electrum server. Once CBF is in BDK it will be the default in https://github.com/andreasgriffin/bitcoin-safe
Why is it close source? When can we buy it with Bitcoin?
It’s open and we’ll be sharing everything before we ship. Buying with bitcoin is on the roadmap
Great. One thing missing is an option to send to external wallets if we loose the bitkey hardware.

Major security risk that for this price not even a display is included. Even a cheap Ledger Nano S is better (with knowing the recent data breach news). I think it should be redesigned.
Given everything including the hardware will be open source, anyone can add a screen if they wish.

I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen so far. Bitkey seems to take signing devices to the next level much as iPhone did with mobile phones in 2007.

Block filters would have been nicer
I think this product would be good for someone like my mom. Trying to walk her through the steps to receive bitcoin to her Ledger over the phone is usually an hour-long process.
