If we are going to win, we need to learn grammar, logic AND rhetoric. "Set fire to all the fucking hotels..." is counter productive. DO NOT BE EMOTIONAL IN YOUR RHETORIC. They will always use it against you. Be logical. They can not defend against a logical assault.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHECK THEIR FUCKING EMOTIONS AT THE DOOR.

While I may be put off by ur emotions I will defend ur right to express them in the words you choose … no matter how strongly I disagree

Imho … Dissent is the greatest defense against tyranny

Although I strongly agree with your sentiment which, unless I am mistaken, is that there is wisdom in dissent without offense

I don't disagree. My point is not to be hyperbolic with rhetoric.

Yes but it seems this young woman is being jailed for “rhetorical hyperbole” which has been judged in the opinion of a tyrannical government with the power to jail to be “hate speech”

…the problem in my eyes with “hate speech” is that it seems to be an arbitrarily defined entity that is determined through a political (often self serving) lense

I still support this young emotional mother’s right to say something hyperbolic (and even stupid) and the right of people that disagree to let her know with their own free speech (hyperbolic or not)

…and I support your right to point out how unhinged their rhetoric may sound and my right to point out how far we’ve strayed from the path of “he who governs least governs best”

Completely agree

Knowledge comes from the senses. Yet, experience need not lead to knowledge. For between sensation and reason lies emotion and passion which may distort experience into error even as it distorts desire into vice.

— Will Durant, about the Stoic philosophy in The Life Of Greece, Vol II, The Story of Civilization

Better set that emotion aside when conveying things of importance.

That old chestnut...
