I never cease to be thankful that the WLC (as an accurate summary/map of the teaching of the whole Scripture) classifies the entirety of a Christian's future under two major headings: grace (now) and glory (later).
Grace and Glory: nothing more, nothing less, forever.
Amazing.
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give *grace and glory*: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."
Psalm 84:11-12 KJV
I remembered the phrase in Psalms but had trouble finding it as newer translations prefer 'favour and honour'.
The KJV translation has its flaws here and there, but its language is otherwise regal, poetic, noble--unmatched in English.
