Most YouTubers and podcasters about Bitcoin just want to make money, they don't give a shit about Bitcoin, keep that in mind.

They only seek to promote themselves through sponsors to make a living, it is legitimate of course, everyone makes a living as they want, but they often demonstrate through their ignorance that for them the important thing is not Bitcoin, it's the money.

First learn to program and cryptography then you can give your opinion about what is good and bad.

I'll give you a hint, if they criticize the trezor model, is that they don't understand shit.

Not Max & Stacy.

I highly recommend their old stuff from 2008, 2009, 2010. Amazing content. You’ll learn something. Not just about BTC.

It need to be used in the real world, to build actual businesses of all types, that is what I want to see happening…

But yeah, agree too

I have a Trezor. It’s ok to keep? I was hearing a bunch of fud about it and was looking to switch up, but I really like it 🤷‍♂️

Trezor is open source. I think the point he's making is that a lot of other wallets are not. The code may be auditable but not truly open source and leads to issues with being able to verify the firmware.

Ok thx!

Is Coldcard and Blockstream Jade not open source?

Will work, for BTC.

Yeah, it’s rough out there. I’ve thought about starting a nest to help normal people with whatever I can, or just give them space to talk. Sometimes it feels like everyone is trying to make themselves the center of the world. We have a long way to go. It’s hard to believe, but there is so much upside left. Not just price, but hope.

We are so lucky to have such dedicated people working on these solutions.

My "🤙" applies to the first 2 sections.

NVK said he would never use a trezor because it doesn’t have a secure element. He even said he’d rather use a ledger because if someone gets your trezor they can extract the keys.
