A God that is one God in three persons can be referred to as singlular (one God) or plural (three persons). This matches the way God is referred to in the Bible. If you disagree (I've been confused at what you are trying to tell me in many of your posts, so I'm not positive what your position is) and say that only God the Father is God, then the passages in the old testament where plurals are used to refer to God make no sense. Also, what do you think Jesus and the Holy Spirit are?

Yes, but a God who says in first person that there is no God apart from him can’t:

I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. (Isaiah 45:5)

“If you disagree… and say that only God the Father is God”

for us there is but one God, the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6)

“Also, what do you think Jesus and the Holy Spirit are?”

Jesus asked his disciples: “Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15)

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16)

I believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God.

the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth (John 14:17)

When debating the Pharisees, Jesus said, "I and the Father are one.” (Matthew 10:30). They are one God. Jesus clearly claimed to be God. The pharisees tried to stone him because they knew he claimed to be God. He either is God or he is a liar or he is insane. He doesn't give us another option.

“Jesus is God” is Christian religion, but Jesus was not Christian.

the God of Jesus Christ was the God of Israel.

“One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

You are ignoring "I and the Father are one.” is the same as "The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” They are both referring to the one God. They both claim one God even though the first statement by Jesus claims that He and the Father are one. The second statement doesn't undo the first. The first clarifies the 2nd.

You are trying to prove that Jesus is God, but that is not what Jesus says he is, he says:

“I am the Son of God”

(John 10:36)

God revealed to Peter who Jesus is, you should take it from there

(Matthew 16:15-17)

He does say he is God when he says they are one. There is another verse (can't remember location right now and don't have time to search) where he refers to himself as "I am" which is the name God gave Moses when Moses asked who was sending him.

When Jesus says "I and the Father are one," how can this mean anything other than that they are one God?

Jesus says that the Father is the only true God:

"you, the only true God"

not "you and me the only true God"

"Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

(John 17:3)

2) “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."

(John 17:20-23)

you mean John 8:24?

"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.”

you should believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God

"But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

(John 20:31)

that is the message of the Gospel of John, if you read something else into it you are wrong

I found two articles about “I am” but there is no problem with this, Jesus is the Son of God in the Bible (John 10:36), those who claim something else don’t believe in him.
