My son was worried about an upcoming water day because he “didn’t want to change in front of people.” I asked when he had to do that and he said a few times at daycare in the recent past. And that “everyone was changing in the class and everyone was looking at each other and laughing.”

This seems……inappropriate. Am I crazy?

It is , and definitely stressful for the kid.

Definitely inappropriate

The fuck?

That’s what I said! I’m shocked too because he’s gone to this school for 3 years and they’ve been incredible.

I think it depends on the age, right? Because I work at a preschool and when a kid has an accident (which is pretty often) we have to help them get dressed in the bathroom, which is shared with the other kids in the same classroom. (It’s a long room with 4 tiny stalls without doors and high cabinets for their clothes). The other kids never mind and neither those the accident kid lol but they do laugh at each other’s butts often lol
