nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m said something that hits very, very close to me in that interview with hoodie boy. He said he trusts experience. He also mentioned that RFK jr was a heroin addict (I am not posting this to be political)

My late best friend passed from heroin. I would not wish an opiate addiction on anyone. If you know anyone that has gone through that, you know what hell really is.

We have this view of addicts that they are bad people who made bad choices and deserve their addiction. Generally speaking, people become addicted to drugs because they lack something so necessary, they need to numb the absence to compensate. Vietnam veterans who were called baby killers and rejected from society are the prime example of this. Imagine going through war all time be treated like shit when you get back.

I say all this to say, experience DOES speak for itself. And anyone that overcomes addictions is not weak for succumbing, they’re strong for OVERCOMING. These are not bad people. Most of them are so hopeless. So anyone that can pull themselves from those depths is an inspiration to me.

I only had time for about half of it yesterday, but Jack really threw down some truth without equivocation. If I have been critical of Jack, I am not now. Keep speaking the truth, it will set you free. Kings and princes will hate you, but the people give thanks.

Also, if 'hoodie boy' would not cuss so much more people might actually watch this. I honestly don't know him at all, but I watched the intro he recorded, and he was impressive. Then in the interview erased it.

I say hoodie boy with a light heart. I just think his whole shtick is funny, that’s all. At the end of the day I’m glad he’s progressing Bitcoin.
