For large amounts, a cold wallet becomes necessary. I wouldn't trust anything besides the seedsigner though because there's no risk of the manufacturer doing shady stuff. You can also use an old laptop as a wallet, or install Linux on an external USB stick and boot from it whenever you want to send bitcoin.
