From being a foodie all my life, when it comes to restaurants/bars, I’ve learned that the actual place, nor a lengthy menu, matter as long as the food is clean, good quality and tasty. If a restaurant can accomplish this I’ll definitely be going back.
I enjoy trying new restaurants but most of the time my experience is that the restaurant owners focus on making the place look great but the food (the whole reason to go to restaurants) is basic and commercial grade at best.
To me it shouldn’t be complicated, even if your menu consists of two dishes and four kinds of drinks it’s fine as long as it is consistently good.
