if you can run a CI system and publish images you are like 70% of the way there.. why depend on others when you can do end to end deployments yourself?

Oh, you mean that part, yeah. I meant, I don't want to turn my laptop into an Internet host for my apps.
It'll be a lot of apps.
I want custom editions of lots of stuff. Editions I don't need to PR. 😂
You can't imagine how much I absolutely despise PRs. Shit is giving me a stroke.
you already know bash and ssh tho right? what about systemd? wireguard is easy, just search github for angristan
The problem isn't that I don't know how to do this or that I haven't done it in the past. I run the local test systems at work and we manage the church website. I hosted my first webpage before most of these guys were even born. 😂
The problem is that I am too agreeable and want to work together with others. But everyone else is much slower than I am, for a whole host of reasons. They want to double-check and nitpick and micromanage everything I do, but I do so much that controlling me turns into a full-time job, so they're like, Please stop working, Stella.
I need someplace that I can finally work at my own pace: very very fast.
I want to turn the ship around:
I build, I test, I ship. They can pull the changes they like into their own instance, at their own pace, at their leisure. They don't need PRs for a pull they trigger themselves.
PRing the fastest dev, so that the slowest dev can follow along, is commie. I'm done with it.
No more begging.
No more pleading.
No more asking for permission.

you can just ship it!
