I've been thinking about this a lot. I have an interview coming up with a group that does a lot of smart contracts work. Of course, Bitcoin doesn't allow for smart contracts, so the underlying coin is Ethereum. I can see utility in smart contracts, even though I don't see utility in shit coins. And I would like to get paid, enough that I wouldn't mind getting paid for this.

Maybe this makes me morally bankrupt 🤔 but idk I'd prefer that to literally bankrupt 🤑

That's the beauty of #bitcoin. It weaponizes human greed and turns it into freedom for everyone (on a longer timer scale). It doesn't matter if your intentions are good or bad.

Or are you 1) helping engineer Bitcoinization 2) Are you old and trying desperately to engineer a retirement realizing that Social Security is destroyed and 95% of your net wealth is locked away in IRAs and your home.

At some point you gotta grow up, Peter Pan. Bitcoinization entails for than balding guys named Chuck in his basement homemining and running Bitcoin Core waiting gleefully for all the CSAM and new tech.
