The syncing might be relay-dependent. I’ve found that connecting to a few paid relays makes a big difference in terms of content quality (esp. in global) and syncing/speed

Or simply reducing the number of relays and picking good ones.

You don't need to pay for a relay to have a good experience on Nostr. Fortunately for adoption.
