Shittiest book I was ever forced to read was Nectar in a Sieve. Slow, boring-ass tale of poverty and suffering.

Great Expectations 🤮. I ended up switching to the cliff notes to pass the test on the book.

Was just talking about this the other day. Such a strange story for kids to read. Pretty sure I read it two separate times through school too!
