One could still pretty easily end up hosting unsavoury content from a malicious party without being aware, I think.

I can block keywords and npubs.

Of course and try to inspect all the notes X = ? No image hosting I guess just certain kinds?

Just wondering all the power to you store only what you want where you want ✊🏻

No images are stored on relays. They're on separate media servers.

Something could slip through, but the relay feed is integrated into my client feed, so I tend to notice people misbehaving and block them in my mute list, and then block them on my relay.

I have an "add from follows" button for my whitelist and an "add from mutes" button for my blacklist. They could eventually auto-update, couldn't they? nostr:npub10npj3gydmv40m70ehemmal6vsdyfl7tewgvz043g54p0x23y0s8qzztl5h

One button mute/block but what about the case you want to mute but keep a record you can selectively check for progress or not. There’s an AI troll I muted a while back, still responds to my notes here and there… I want to see if it ever changes.

A small, local relay, I suppose. On your PC.

Or have a relay collect notes from mutes and then suppress them.

What about dockers of private relays that record each follow or mute? Computationally expensive for thousands of containers?

Isn't there a history tool from Semisole?

🤷🏼

Seems to just get everywhere anyway

Works well in conjunction with the inbox/outbox model, too.

Lawyers :(

I would only dare do this if hiding behind a Tor hidden service.

This would apply double if I attracted deranged trolls as readily as she does, but I suppose limiting the relay to follows fixes that bit.
