Funny. No Fatwa was really needed for this. 😅

Bitcoin adheres to Islamic principles more than anything else.

If I didn’t know, I would have thought it’s an Islamic product.

Interesting, why so?

One of the big no no’s of Islam is usury, basically making profits from lending money and using the needy.

Jihad basically translates to put the effort into your work, aka, proof of work.

The Quran is preserved by decentralization. Millions of people memorize it front to back just like nodes storing the blockchain. It’s impossible to change it, you will be audited by millions of people.

Bitcoin adopts many Islamic principles and mechanics.

it's true

i think that islam is more true to the teachings of Jesus than the catholic bible and if you read the qur'an you'll see that Jesus is at the centre of the story, his birth story is repeated at least 3 times and as it reports it, Gabriel seeded mary with "breath"

interesting fact is that the qur'an prescribes a flat tax of 2 or 3% i forget exactly for governments, hah that one has blown out quite a bit and anyone saying that there is an islamic government doesn't know what that means

Correct it’s 2.5%, it’s called Zakat. It’s not based on income, but instead on wealth stored unused for more than a year.

But it’s not to the government. It goes for a specific list: the poor and the needy, Zakat collectors, orphans, widows, those to be freed from slavery, the aged who cannot work to feed themselves, those in debt, in the cause of Allah and to benefit the stranded traveller.
