Pro athletes could benefit so much from getting paid in bitcoin. They put the energy of their lives and their health in the line. Bitcoin will conserve that energy forever. Dollars will not.

I did "inherit" my family sells the next generation of land but it's paid off. Less than 10 acres but it keeps us close and intergenerational connections to the farm. Grow our own food.

They may be overpaid but most of them have very short careers and their bodies a decimated by the time they’re done. They should at least be able to hold the value of that pay.
