Are the Govs aware of the fact that Bitcoin and Nostr is on the way to disintegrate their whole control apparatus? All the shitty gatekeepers, censorship, AML and KYC bullshit is absolutely meaningless when we can communicate and zap around freely. All borders are meaningless. All official ID stuff is meaningless. Its like we live through the manifestation of the most important thesis from "the sovereign individual" and its hard for me to wrap my mind around all the potential consequences and the path that lies ahead of us.

I know we are discussing this stuff for years now but it suddenly became so obvious.

Just me trying to sort my thoughts.

We defo need this protocol. When governments and all big tech start going after the leftists as well we will have it all established on this platform.

Censorship via digital id’s is gonna be something that wakes people up.

They still control the meat space; have a firm handle on choke points for travel such as sea ports, air ports, land crossings / major roadways. Most governments also have a monopoly on violence. USA is probably the only nation with an armed population and the rest of the world are under a tight grip when it comes to owning weapons.

Don’t get me wrong, ripping money control and information control out of governments’ hands is a great step, but for most people to become truly sovereign in this world is still going to take quite some time. We are all fighting the good fight here! LFG!

Agree... but the loss of the control over information and money cause devastation to their control over the meat space in the long run. And until it happens we can still vote with our feet and jump to jurisdictions where we are treated best. This is the exact playbook of the sovereign individual.
