The 10s of thousands of pages of arbitrary regulation, obvious capture by corporations, incessant micro managing of the industry, the most strict and absurd IP laws and enforcement, complete restrictions on sale and entrance into the market, and the revolving door between regulators and corporate execs is almost hard to even compare to anything it’s so bad. To call this a problem of “not enough regulation” implies such a profound ignorance of anything that goes on in the industry itself almost baffling.
I urge the OP to go produce some insulin and sell it in the US and see how far that goes. The walls are massive for a reason and the govt built them
