Hmm. Using Amethyst, just yesterday I followed #[2] via our #[3] account. Amethyst showed that Nests was blocked before I followed it. WTF...

Auto-blocking sounds like a terrible feature unless the user can fully configure how it behaves.

Especially invisible blocking. At least have it minimized with an option to expand and view

I thought people concluded

a) it's not shadowbanning cos... Well, it's just not ok.

B) actually shadowbanning is good

Amethyst does this thing where if people you follow (apparently 5 or more) block/report someone. They will also be blocked for you. It's meant to be for spam, but unsurprisingly it also functions as blocking people who eg have unpopular opinions or whatnot.
