Hmm. Using Amethyst, just yesterday I followed #[2] via our #[3] account. Amethyst showed that Nests was blocked before I followed it. WTF...

Auto-blocking sounds like a terrible feature unless the user can fully configure how it behaves.

Especially invisible blocking. At least have it minimized with an option to expand and view

This also sort of doesn't work, cos you assume it's a spambot (cos most of the time it is).

Not the adopted blocklist debate again lololcry.

I thought people concluded

a) it's not shadowbanning cos... Well, it's just not ok.

B) actually shadowbanning is good

Lolol

Amethyst does this thing where if people you follow (apparently 5 or more) block/report someone. They will also be blocked for you. It's meant to be for spam, but unsurprisingly it also functions as blocking people who eg have unpopular opinions or whatnot.

In case this user can't be seen:

( #[6] ) he's new and needs help. I don't know what helps get someone off autoblock...?
