Yes for sure. Not arguing that they can go back to the old ways. But the day the internet goes down, do you have paper statements at home in a box to go to the bank and prove your balance? If not, then everyone who doesn’t will essentially have $0 if you can’t prove your balance, or if you have zero cash at home.

Well my question is how will that be worked out if hypothetically, the internet is gone for good? Sure, everyone can start from scratch and make more money again, but whatever you had before, if it was all online, might as well be gone. My overall point is that everyone is just as f’d as everyone else if the internet goes down. We as a species will always find a way, so on that I don’t disagree with you 💯
