It is true that F-Droid is more censorship-resistant than Accrescent. But as long as an app is available on Accrescent, you should prefer getting it from there instead of F-Droid. Because, in contrast to F-Droid, where you must trust both the developers of the app you are installing AND F-Droid, on Accrescent apps are directly signed by the developers, not by Accrescent. That reduces the number of parties you need to trust and is much more secure.

Of course, maintaining an F-Droid repository is still a good idea in case anyone tried to censor the app from Accrescent. If the app you are looking for isn't available on Accrescent, then F-Droid should be your next choice.
