Yea imagine how long your first day alive, first year, first decade all felt like. You can only compare time to more time. So the first day must have felt like an eternity.

Basically time feels like it speeds up since you experienced more time.

A day as an adult probably feels like a week as a child.

It's a social construct designed to keep us ignorant from the fact that we are ALL STILL IN THE WAITING ROOM OF LIFE.
