I think it's working now? I was trying to zap 2 people with WoS addresses, but both were timing out. I have a channel to WoS. After multiple failures, it's not working.

Oh ok! That explains why my ZAP doesn't zapper on UTXo's fundraising!
we're giving them a free stress test. at my work, twice a year we have to create these scaling tests ourselves for all of our services

Oh no! My experience hasn’t been the best with WoS lately. I’m not using that app.
Working for me still. Was able to zap.
It was only a blip outage this time. It lasted probably about a minute where I was unable to zap 2 different people on WoS. It kept timing out.
I've been finding my payments to WoS taking 5-10 seconds on average. Way slower than LN really is! Just trying ln.tips now and finding it extremely responsive however!
Are there other wallet providers suffering the brunt of Nostr / Lightning frenzy?

I think the fact that WoS is so easy as a wallet with LNURL, and gets promoted heavily here, it’s especially in the overload crosshairs.
Very true. It's a great wallet, I think the major thing it has going for it is that it makes itself quite known as a easy way to get a LNURL.
Fingers crossed in time all the NIP5 name providers will also be LNURL addresses too.
Looking forward to BOLT 12 becoming a reality across nostr as well.
