Some amount of social stratification is inevitable, but relay operators outnumbering the rest, dumb WoT systems, and dumb spam filters makes it moreso. One with no pre existing allies or connections must have an extraordinary value offering to have any chance, and even then only if that happens to be valued by the few who will see whatever they post, in time to avoid their (rational) decision to stop posting.

As for nostr- its the fact that people I follow on one client don't seem to always transfer to others.
And unmuting someone is damn near impossible (I've tried from 3-4 different clients but no dice)
It's the worst. I had to install a permanent disabler hack. Best sats I've ever spent! I'm sure it prolonged my life by a few years by eliminating the rage.
