App? Organic Maps. It uses openstreetmap. Not nearly as accurate as Google though.

Open source alternative would be Openstreetmap. It’s a great project, but it depends what you’re looking for. I think they don’t have a mobile app nor navigation. There might be some third party apps offering navigation using openstreetmap though.
