Will Nostr ever have an ability to post videos? Most of my educational content is in the form of short format videos and I’d love to be able to start posting them here. #asknostr

I agree, nostr.build is the way.
If you need to upload larger videos, you can buy a premium account for a reasonable price.

But, nothing good comes easy.
Try reducing video size to 5mb or smaller.
Possibly a nostr.build account.
(But I don't even have one yet myself)
I can say if you use amethyst on android, you can upload videos directly from your phone if they are 5mb or smaller using nostr.build to do so for free.
Imma have to go see if they have the 100gb accounts. I'm waiting for them to get one.
The Nostr is not a platform, it’s a protocol. This means all media (pictures, video, etc.) are hosted elsewhere and linked here. You can already link YouTube and Vimeo, but as others have suggested, a crowd favorite is nostr:npub1nxy4qpqnld6kmpphjykvx2lqwvxmuxluddwjamm4nc29ds3elyzsm5avr7 at: https://nostr.build/
