A few years ago before I knew who Yuval Harari was (and I think before he joined the WEF) I was loaned a book called "Sapiens" written by him. I thought his viewpoint that wheat controlled us was a little silly but interesting, but once I got to the farming chapter I was so infurated by his complete incomprehension of farming (and totalizing accusations against all farmers) that I stopped reading and decided the guy was a complete idiot.

In all that I have learned since, I can't say I was wrong.

even the ancient greek philosophers understood that anybody will sound like an idiot when talking about things they have no clue about and vice versa - a plumber will sound intelligent when talking about plumbing, so long as you know nothing about plumbing yourself

anyway, the question isn't whether Harari is smart, but whether his vision represents that of the WEF

if it does then it will become reality no matter how dumb it may be ...

He's a psychopath

Read this a few years ago. I remember thinking that parts were good/insightful, and others, especially the conclusions at the end, were bs. I had not idea he was connected to the WEF, but that might sense.

f*ing auto correct. “makes sense”

Dude's a Fn James Bond villain.

what were his main (incorrect) farming arguments/theories?

He was going on about them being horribly cruel to animals.
