Force close are a big problem in LN, but it's part of the equation sadly.
And Alby is doing a great job at explaining it IMO, not a very big deal.
I hope it will improve with time for LN to become more attractive for sovereign LN users
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of their work and think they responded great to this problem.
However I think it's irresponsible to recommend sovereign Lightning to non technical people when these issues exist. Most people would be better off with a custodial solution.
But the company isn't
Maybe yes but still the funds are not lost, Alby provide clear explanation on what is happening so it's not a no go for me, even if the tech is not mature yet
We are working on closing the gap. It is a journey and thanks to such feedback we can better prioritize. A solution to exactly this problem has been implemented already to avoid it from happening again.
And there will be a cool new landing page to explain Alby Hub better.
