To all fellow beautiful nostrich Amethyst users:
If you want to guarantee that your next note will be posted as a new note in your profile instead of a random weird comment on someone else's note, you must always clear amethyst's cache before every single new note you post.
I hope this helps some confused nostriches like me 😅

Or just copy the Quote text, go back to home screen, and create new post from there instead to bypass this glitch
Ohh this method you mentioned actually doesn't work for me. The quote will still go into someone else's note instead of my profile as a new note 😅 only clearing cache or boosting random notes works here
It worked for me, couple times right after failure I would try and then it would work. So like a duplicate quote, 1 on thread, 1 on feed after. Did the thread one also clear the cache then 🤣
When I tried this I ended up spamming some poor clueless pleb 3 times with the same unrelated content on his comment 🤣 it was days ago and im still embarrassed lol
My last note depicts how much of a noob I feel among you tech savvy nostriches hahahah
