We'll be making another release today with more fixes for minor regressions introduced by Android 14. We have fixes for Bluetooth/Wi-Fi timeout, some sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer improvements and other minor improvements. Our Android 14 port is already quite solid.

Is there a noob friendly tutorial for a first time installation for friends/family?

Yeah plug your phone into theirs and do the flashing for them. 😉

Serious note, excuse the pun, simply following the online web installer is the easiest method.

If you need a video I can recommend:

Seriously, this is a powerful tool. I've done it a few times now, and it's worked very well. I find myself managing a few phones, so this lets me work on a couple at once.

I’ve been trying to switch to my pixel 7 with GOS from my iPhone but for some reason i cant seem to access my start9 server. Any help would be appreciated.

Please join the testing channel here and provide what details you can:

Please be patient as the the transition to Android 14 is still in progress as we work through any regressions and issues that may crop up. While the foundations of the OS on 14 are stable and offer all of our security features other less critical issues such as UI etc are still being worked on.

If you wish to message me on here too, I'll provide a SimpleX link to send the info too (device, configuration, errors, behaviour and logs (if required).
