Love the gravel bike. I need to get myself back out there.
I used to poke fun at road/gravel riders coming from downhill MTB but now here I am having a blast and not breaking bones anymore. It’s been more fun than I could have expected.
No broken bones here, but I got some stitches, and I had to get the whole right side of my body scrubbed down with a medical sponge, which felt like a sandpaper block lol.

Ouch that could have been way worse though. I crashed in a similar way to yours on my mountain bike and went over the bars, elbow hit the ground first and basically exploded.

That looks painful.
Luckily I just ran out of traction and washed out. I was humbled real quick. This was when I first got into cycling, and was trying to keep up with the KOM in front of me. Always wear a helmet, I didn’t even know I hit my head until I took my helmet off, and it was trashed.
