As a child of the seventies I rarely saw my parents as they both worked in a world with 16% interest rates and run away inflation.

BUT... I learned to work in the garden with them growing food and hunting and fishing and trapping to acquire protein.

I have fond memories of the time shared acquiring skills and discipline through work together.
