Why is it that after nearly 10 years, still waiting for most markdown renderers to include the [TOC]?

Is there any MD app other than Typora that supports this?

Obsidian is the best markdown note taking app, which is a knowledge database, with internal links between notes. I’m sure there is a plunging for TOC
