When Do Kwon's idiotic "algorithmic stablecoin" racket fell apart last year, I was in the process of getting a job writing tooling for making it easier to scaffold APIs for the Cosmos/Tendermint system.

I think it's a generally useful concept, but my opinion now is that federated/stake blockchains are not the best solution for applications, but the Cosmos inter-chain model is still better than the monolith of Ethereum. It is so very close to RGB style L3 systems, if you remove the internal token issuance.

If it was shifted to be an L3 on top of something like RGB, that would be something I could have some serious zeal towards, and being a moderately practised software architect, I can see how the work I do making Ignite better will apply nearly transparently to an L3 platform, eliminating the latency, the circularity problem of staking and consensus being broken when an external system controls issuance.

It was my opinion from quite early on that proof of stake in general had this problem, and it was vividly played out with Dan Larimer's Steem forum blockchain project. Early adopters basically allocated themselves such a large amount of the supply that malicious actors within the group used their power as a club against those who did not fall into line on the Cult of Larimer, that of course was giving so much power to, most notably, a troll who named himself after a certain old Democrat politician who is popular with young people.

If they hire me, I will be primarily working on making it easy to spin up applications, designing the APIs, mainly, and from this basis it is just a back-end part to swap out to target a different platform, whether it be centralised, distributed, using RAFT or Paxos or similar (Tendermint is derivative of Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance), or made into an L3 on top of a state channel system.

I have another role that is in process too, a distributed validator system for improving reliability and avoiding slashing on Ethereum, and I can see how this kind of protocol has some applicability to this kind of application platform. Specifically, I already started to design a causality determination system that uses small, randomly distributed but proximal nodes to rapidly agree on event sequence as users push transactions into the system.

Such a causality discovery protocol is so very close to what the distributed validator system will need to function.

So, yeah, two roles in process of application, and both of them I see ways that the work won't be wasted on scammy garbage if I do my architecting part right, keeping the coupling loose and make it easy to translate the protocols to different back ends.

I need to keep searching, still, it's not guaranteed I will win either of them, though my chances are good. But in both cases I can work on things that are concretely directed at protocols that I perceive to be flawed, if I keep in mind the idea of making them retargetable for other, better protocols.

What is your opinion on RGB and client side validation?

Confirmed, Pura vida! ๐Ÿ‘

So, i figured out what is the issue โ€” my library is sending all headers lowercased (for websocket upgrade), and if I try to send capitalized version to you โ€” all works fine. According to standard all headers should be treated case insensitive, so if you could fix your case match โ€” that would be amazing!

Still canโ€™t manage to connect properly to / endpoint where you serve both html and wss. Sending you dm to investigate

Obsidian is the best markdown note taking app, which is a knowledge database, with internal links between notes. Iโ€™m sure there is a plunging for TOC

After reading The Apocalypse of Yajnavalkya, it extensively referred to The Book of Enoch and Corpus Hermeticum, which it claims was the same person.

Enoch was almost lost, as the Catholic governors declared it to be heresy, until 200 years ago, the book was still studied by Ethiopian Christians.

The book was very popular in the early, anti-Roman movement of Christianity, and many quotes attributed to Jesus are rephrasing of verses of the Book of Enoch.

The Apocalypse also mentioned Thoth a little, and tied all three, Enoch, Hermes Trimagestus and Thoth, to the same individual, as many parts of the respective texts had common themes and sometimes names.

I intend to acquire and read all three texts and study and compare them.

I now am very convinced that the messages in these texts have great relevance to us today, of those of us who choose to seek Pura Vida.

I'm curious to see more of the texts of the apocrypha - though Enoch was the one that the perverts in the Catholic church were so hostile to they nearly erased it.

In case anyone thinks the stories of Atlantis are white supremacy, just to point out that some of the blackest people in the world kept this "heresy" alive.

Also, it never occurred to me, but the word apocrypha and apocalypse are both based on the same root, apoc, and the proper meaning is that these words are antonyms. One means revealing, the other means concealing.

One of the things that Enoch says, even, is that this information would be hidden from us, but in the times predicted for the punishment of the Watchers, connected to the Anunaki and their bastard children the Nephilim, that the texts would reemerge, and the Righteous would understand it, while the wicked would not.

Apocalypse says that in addition to the war that is coming very soon, very soon after this, and specifically around 2028, that another round of Taurids would come and repeat similar destruction as what started the Dryas, 12000 years ago. And that the "angels" actually humans who made the leap out of the gravity well, will return and pick up the Elect, as Enoch calls them, and take them to me with our ancient ancestors and learn their ways, and after some 1200 or so years, the conditions of the meteor and comet induced nuclear winter (probably partly literally nuclear winter) will subside enough for us to return and rebuild.

Starting from this time, around 2028, will be the beginning of the Age of Acquarius. The 2020 winter solstice and Saturn/Jupiter conjunction was a harbinger, never before happened in recorded history, and is connected to the Bethlehem Star, which is a cycle of 20 Jupiter/Saturn conjunctions, consistently marks the end of empires.

In Vishnu Parana, the Hindu text, it specifically names a celestial event that marks the end of Pisces and beginning of Aquarius, with a conjunction of Jupiter, the moon, and in line with Sirius, one of our nearest stars, the brightest in the sky.

I don't know how to search for this in an ephemeris but I bet that it happens in 2028. I intend to eventually verify these all things over the next year in my spare time, and share it on Nostr for my fellow Remnant plebs.

Please keep posting your research and summarize โ€” itโ€™s super interesting to read ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค“

I had an episode of biliary colic two days ago. The pain was distinct and familiar, never had it bad but maybe 5 or 6x in my life.

This time I looked it up, and it seems likely it was from too much hard cholesterol.

Two days before, I ate 8 eggs in one day. And lots of butter generally.

I realized it was probably a little gallstone. My mother got them so bad her gall bladder was removed.

I'm not a fan of avoidable medical procedures. One was inflicted on me at 8 days old thanks to the fraudster Kellogg, the inventor of cornflakes and cofounder with Ellen White of the fraud Seventh Day Adventist Church, who was obsessed with stopping masturbation, and influenced Americans to tolerate this disgusting mutilation of little boys. Also, fuck you if you think it's ok.

And I have 4 wisdom teeth, they NEED to be surgically removed. My teeth would be much more healthy, plus one half died and is a dull ache constantly.

So, here's the thing. Firstly, this also relates to the fraud SDA, the vegetarian diet. High in eggs and soybeans and chickpeas.

Eggs have a lot of cholesterol, and that is ok, it is hard cholesterol. But the white causes anemia in cats, and that means probably it's not great for humans with IBS, which often involves inflamed intestinal pores letting large half digested protein through, and probably puts a load on the gall bladder that is not healthy.

Yet what is the hoax about fats always dwelling on? Sticky soft cholesterols that are made from sugar. The body's reaction to excess sugar. This shit causes premature aging. I have never consumed much, and surprise surprise I look younger than average, by at about 10 years. Though years of original diesel fuel used to cook potatoes to death, aka vegetable oils, and potato crisps, have taken a toll. Just a 100g block of chocolate, full of stearic acid and my skin is softer for a day.

But here's the thing. I always dismissed the seed oil hoax about saturated fats, and thought eggs were ok.

wrong.

Eggs can cause gallstones, firstly. Biliary colic is no joke.

Secondly, some combination of the cholesterol and the fats and proteins in eggs gives me a chronic skin condition. I was told this 10 years ago by a colleague from a call center job, and he showed me the little raised bumps but as I wasn't suffering from it, though I had previously, and since, I forgot.

Now, I have some more anecdotal data. Through this excess of eggs, combined with chlorinated water, and then add sunshine, and lo and behold, everywhere I was strongly exposed to the sun this very same rash appeared. Not under clothing covered areas, only where the sunlight was hitting it.

The colic drew my attention to eggs, via cholesterol, and then I realized that the coincident skin problem might be connected and I remember what my friend said.

I am avoiding eggs now. Just beef, lamb, goat, venison, occasionally pork. And not mince, except from a butcher freshly ground. I cannot stand the smell of soy. Soybean oil is one of the worst pseudo foods of the modern age. It is instant dry, droopy skin.

So, in addition to causing people to lose nervous system function due to lack of saturated fats, they are lying about eggs and cholesterols too.

All to profit off killing people off and reducing quality of life.

And another thing that came out of this was how to avoid this problem, aside from shunning eggs and cholesterol rich oils like as in peanuts (eggs and peanuts is what messed up my mum's gallbladder).

Carnivore diet is not good for the gallbladder either. Same reason. Too much cholesterol, which glugs up the liver.

It's not the amount by itself, it's the speed at which the fat is broken down by bile when you have no fibre. Glycerine is released from fats when they are hydrolysed by the sodium carbonate in bile (partly why you need more salt with these diets)

But glycerine is a laxative par excellence. Too much oil mixing rapidly with bile causes liquid out the other end. Like, water. Fats in there too but not as much as you'd think. It's soap!

So, guess what the main purpose of fibre actually is?

It acts as an adsorbant, holding the fat out of the contact with the bile so it slowly hydrolyses, avoiding the bulk glycerine release and the attendant liquidity.

Just look up what the only recognised effective treatment for gall bladder disease and gallstones is. Low fat, ok... And high fibre.

So, if you want to achieve OMAD, and lose weight and have all day energy from 1.2g fat/kg/day - you need fibre. The best for it I already accidentally discovered in Bulgaria, where it is popular - spinach. Lettuce is good too but iceberg is mostly insoluble and too much of that is kinda weird on the porcelain later.

Other good fibres are in non sweet fruits.

Is anyone yet reading this and now understanding what the Mediterranean diet is about?

Note that it did not include tomato or capsicum before 14th century.

Spinach, olive oil, beef and lamb dripping, white cheese. Frequent fasting. Lots of fat, and fibre.

It all was intuitive, I simply discovered it, then due to my alcohol consumption, forgot.

It is amazing to be able to eat one meal and have boundless energy all day, no fatigue. You need fibre with fat. And it's needed in greater quantities than protein.

Probably cabbage, especially fermented, helps. I had been starting to get an intuition about it last year, calling it the Balkans diet. The thing that Bulgarians do wrong is the bread and pig. Pig fat just doesn't have the stearic acid. It softens your skin but it is gluggy and looks ugly. You can even see it on people who eat a lot of pork.

What is so great about beef is stearic acid. The protein is good too, but to absorb the fats properly you need fibre too.

Chocolate is another good source of important fats. Second highest natural source after beef.

And eggs. Just, no. Plant proteins are all glue and gum up your digestion. And irritate your bowels.

The diets being sold by envirofascist vegan trans rainbow pigeon shit eugenicists are killing people, making them crazy, and decreasing their intelligence as the nerves are starved of insulating saturated fats and stearates.

Another thing to mention, demodex mites love the fats from eggs. I am almost certain. These little bastids rein your sleep with their nocturnal sexual activity. I got them real bad just before the lockdowns started. I can see now the egg rich diet also contributed.

And the rash, it affects pores specifically. I have loads of unhappy pores on my legs now from this and too tight thermals worn too much of the day.

So many mistakes to fix. Gonna be so glad when all the symptoms end. Tinnitis, the bitey mites, the rash, the colic.

I already feel better but it is gonna take time to clear all this shit.

I hope this helps others also having these issues.

It's crazy how much we are addicted to killing ourselves. So wrong. So must end. Forever.

Amazing post๐Ÿ‘ what about fish btw?

Connection is fine, after sending websocket upgrade message โ€” reply is regular html with instruction to pay, but it should be HTTP 101 Switching Protocols

Now I canโ€™t even connect to read messages, I thought paid is only for posting notes? But people should still query filters for free?!

When user first time receives payment via lightning, what channel size is opened from Voltage? Is it the same size as inbound payment? Or itโ€™s somehow bigger and can handle next payments?

Storing all the events you parsed?

Which language are you using to build parser for all relays?

Any chance to get video recording of your talk?
