Core v30 is not an existential threat to Bitcoin. Bitcoin will be just fine.
And part of why it will be fine is enough Bitcoiners are taking mitigating measures: by not upgrading, by running Knots, and by speaking out about it.
As a result, more Bitcoiners are running nodes now than ever. And never again will nodes blindly update to the latest version. That is a great victory.

I wonder if there is public data on donations made to core devs. I would like to see that chart. They lost the plot in a major way but it will make Bitcoin stronger.
