No, they are usually the result of a player entering the market with a large war chest, like with OpenSats. Nostr theoretically has a free market and we are all playing in the same league, but they can just buy up the entire market because they're gazillionaires. Walking into a small market with a gigantic wad of cash calls off all the rules. It is, what it is. Free markets don't prevent that (as we can see) and heavy regulation also doesn't because they have so much money that they can just buy up the regulators.

So if there was a regulation to prevent big players do that, it could not happen. There is a lack of regulation on this, free market doesn't obviously stops it and overregulation dictated by elites also doesn't prevent this. Do we have an agreement?
