Remember when only some, and not all, universities were able to reproduce Pons and Fleishmann's cold fusion experiment so it was considered invalid?

I like to think the stories not over with the superconductor. There were apparently many simulations ran suggesting that it should be possible from my understanding

It's like, "Aw, we keep getting closer but not reaching it." Even though in the 80's they said we'd have room temp semiconductors in regular use by now.
