What’s different? Steam makes it super easy. I’ve been playing baldur’s gate 3 on Linux and it works great

Steam + Nvidia + Fedora = Amazing

nvidia has typically had terrible support on linux which is why i went with an amd gpu on my last build (rx5700)

That’s changed a lot in the last 3 years. I no longer have to boot into single user mode to update my GPU drivers haha

Cyberpunk doesnt work from steam launcher, so I used lutris to install it from gog, but that didn't work, apparently I need heroic launcher to launch gog, and finally got it working

Until it just randomly crashed 5 mins later :/

Diablo 4 and modern warfare also no worky :/

Yeah i could never get cyberpunk to work :(

This is why I have a 🪟 main rig...

Dual boot FTW?

Nah multiple machines.

Its also no good at running multiple monitors.

I run Mint on a few of my boxes that stream content but thats about it...

I have a Steam Deck and it’s been great.

I play FlightSim a lot and it works pretty smooth, and it’s not even Linux native.

Linux games run perfectly.

I had to go back to Windows for gaming. Linux has come a long way, but its still not there yet for gaming
