I mostly agree, but a warmer, more tropical world is beneficial for humans.

I also don't think we should put positive value on biodiversity or recycling. Biodiversity will look after itself and in any case we should be promoting ourselves and species with which we have synergistic relationships (eg dogs horses & cattle). Recycling will occur naturally on the free market. If it's cheaper to dig something out of the earth than to recycle, that tells us something about the current distribution of resources and capabilities.

What most people ignore is that the bulk of "global warming" takes place at the coldest times in the coldest places on earth. And that far more people die from cold than from heat.
