how many plebs are living long time in El Salvador? ;)

The number has been growing ever since they adopted bitcoin 😊

Bulgaria have more bitcoins than El Salvador .... A tirano that prints money or uses public money to buy whatever he wants is always a tirano. SalvadoreƱos money were better in their pockets than in a Country owned Bitcoin wallet.

Probably most plebs dont know where Bulgaria is and that is terible. Knowledge is freedom, bitcoin not.

Most people didn’t even know where El Salvador was until they adopted bitcoin and look at tourism and their economy now. Booming!

It’s not necessarily about govt adoption anyway. It’s a bottom-up process that aims to give power back to the people and free them from the State’s predatory ways.

Bitcoin will free people to pursue knowledge vs slaving away for fiat.

my brother barely knows how tu use whatsapp, how to explain him what blockchain is and why is better for his life? This is almost 15 years story.... and it is boring.

He may not understand technology but I bet he can understand that spending his time and energy to earn fiat money that can be printed at will by govts is pretty bullshit.

Realizing this, would he be interested in learning more about an alternative currency that is fixed in supply and can never be printed?

No. this is not the point. You can not deal with people who prefer security versus freedom. Bitcoin has nothing to do with that.

I mean people prefers government delegated security and pay ambiguos taxes for centralized utopias than be free and take risks in their life

Also myself.

Do you want to speak in serious mood? Do you have courage to buy a war weapon and defend your bussiness from government ambiguos taxes and force monopoly? This scenario is more likely to happen before a free world exists than bitcoin bringing prosperity to, for example, El Salvador.

Ullritch is in prision, FBI truffled TOR, even you notice FBI is a giant bitcoin holder and it is running bitcoin nodes..... haha are you serious? I prefer gold.

Supply of gold increase ~2% every year, Bitcoin supply capped at 21 million.

Try paying someone in gold. Is it easily divisible? Is it safe?

Bitcoin offers instant, private, peer to peer transactions globally.

Govts can confiscate gold. How can they confiscate my bitcoin when the keys to access are in my head?

The list goes on my friend. Do some more research. You’re in the right place so you have that going for you.

It’s quite amazing that gold supply increases 2% every year and the FED inflation target is 2% every year. 🫠

It's an affinity scam.

supply of gold is not affected for its industrial utility and its "capped" due to industry grow and miners. bitcoin is not instant, it take times to verify the transaction in the mining side, often days for low transactions.

it is capped because tomorrow you can not open a gold mine and increasy the gold supply in such a way to disrupt the market, first of all because you don't have the machines and mining heavy equipment and second you need humans to do that job.

It is capped because gold it is not used in industry and it is not expected we are going to use our gold supply to cover industrial needs in short or long term.

are you using chat PGP to write your answers ?

@castaway I did my research more than 10 years ago I am a skeptic I never bought bitcoin I will never buy. It is your game I am watching how you especulate and lie to inocent people with lack of knowledge to risk their money in such a risk game.

I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but hate lack of spirit. For example, Murray Rorthbard said money needs to be practical and to trace it on the blockchain is not practical at all. IF you want to discuss about libertarian philosophy we can discuss. I am not on nostr because bitcoin, never bought and will never buy it.

All this tells me you don’t understand bitcoin and now your entire point finally makes sense.

What about bitcoin doesn’t fit into your libertarian philosophy? Why have you ruled it out completely?

It is not practical. People are not going to adopt it massively.

It is not simple as for example gold is. A kid knows gold is maleable and is shiny, weigthed more than others.... it is intuitive... this is real money. bitcoin needs a lot of circunstancial questions to be usable and it is not practical at all and it would be not practical.

If people understand value proposition of gold then they’ll get bitcoins value proposition in a jif. They just need to think a little. We can help with that!

You can divide gold easly with fire.

also money is imposible to trace. when you melt it is imposible to know where gold is or whatever .... basic principles of chemistry for kids at school, you understand ?

At shcool kids learn basic principles of inorganic chemistry because is so simple and basic, more than simple and basic than your table. gold is divisible, is portable, is untraceable and it is world comprehensible and adopted. nothing more to say judge.

Gold is a good store of value but it doesn’t make for a good money due to its inefficiencies as a medium of exchange. Global trade cannot occur with physical gold.

If a business in US needs to pay a business in Japan, are they to send them physical gold? That’s costly.

The solution was to create paper currency that was backed by gold. We all know how that turned out. Elites exploited the peg and we’re left with the broken system we have today.

Bitcoin fixes this. It’s as good as gold in maintaining its purchasing power if you have a 4 year time horizon, and it’s a superior form of money for reasons I’ve already mentioned. Instant, secure, peer to peer, no trusted third parties, payments.

Bitcoin = digital gold

If you buy a Picasso..... why do you pay for it ?

Money is wathever you want to be money. Bitcoin is not money for me.

Please stop bitcoin PROSELITISM

I LOVE BITCOIN TECHNOLOGY I HATE PROSELITISM

You remember me when socialist friends said Cuba has better doctors, yep, okay, and where are the cuban hospitals ?
