They could be bots if so someone is putting a non trivial amount of work into making each one unique ish only reason I can imagine would be to try to defeat some kind of web of trust that clients may be dependent on. Otherwise I wonder if it’s some kind of bridge interaction.

Web of trust gaming is my best theory too. Counting on people who automatically follow back their followers to make them into trusted accounts. If so, posts will come soon.
